Eberhard Feltz is a professor of violin and chamber music. He teaches master classes throughout Europe, Asia, and North America, and is regularly invited to take part in festivals and sit on competition juries.

 

Born in Königsberg / East Prussia, Professor Feltz studied with Werner Scholz in Berlin and Michail Waiman in St. Petersburg. He has been on the faculty of the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin since 1963. His courses have produced numerous internationally acclaimed quartets, among them the Vogler, Kuss, Faust, Rubens, and Atrium quartets. He has been mentoring the Quatuor Ebène since 2004.
